چکیده
IEEE 802.15.4 is the prevailing standard for lowdata-rate wireless personal area networks. The IEEE 802.15.4 protocol has recently been adopted as a communication standard for low data rate, low power consumption and low cost Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). This protocol is quite flexible for a wide range of applications by adequately tuning its parameters. This feature is quite attractive for time-sensitive WSN applications. The IEEE 802.15.4 standard specifies the physical layer and MAC sub-layer for Low-Rate Wireless Personal Area Networks (LR-WPANs). The ZigBee standard is closely associated with the IEEE 802.15.4 protocol and specifies the network (including security services) and application (including objects and profiles) layers. In IEEE 802.15.4 standard, Packet monitoring statistics along with optimal route selection between nodes is the research topic of major concern from the very first day of its implementation. In this paper, we first try to analyze the existing reactive (on-demand) routing protocols for mesh networking based on random waypoint mobility model and then try to propose new approach for this model.

Today, one of the new technologies in the modern era is Vehicular Ad-hoc Network which has takenenormous attention in the recent years. Because of rapid topology changing and frequent disconnectionmakes it difficult to design an efficient routing protocol for routing data between vehicles, called V2V orvehicle to vehicle communication and vehicle to roadside infrastructure, called V2I. Designin...

In the present scenario, wireless network is being widely used in the area where infrastructure based telecommunication system are unavailable. The mobile ad-hoc network is the infrastructure-less mobile network which has no fixed infrastructure and the nodes can be connected dynamically in an arbitrary manner. The sensor networks are incarnated from ad-hoc networks in which nodes have sensing ...
متن کاملComparative Performance Analysis of AODV,DSR, TORA and OLSR Routing Protocols in MANET Using OPNET
Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) are receiving a significant interest and are becoming very popular in the world of wireless networks and telecommunication. MANETs consist of mobile nodes which can communicate with each other without any infrastructure or centralized administration. In MANETs, the movement of nodes is unpredictable and complex; thus making the routing of the packets challenging....

متن کاملModeling and Simulating Network Connectivity in Routing Protocols for MANETs and VANETs
This paper presents a framework for node distribution with respect to density, network connectivity and communication time. Using NS2, we evaluate and compare performance of three routing protocols; Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV), Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) and Fisheye State Routing (FSR) both in MANETs (IEEE 802.11) and VANETs (IEEE 802.11p). We further enhanced these protocols by c...
